The Rule of 10
Wildcraft – Hoping to help in difficult times...
The announcement by the government on Tuesday 22nd September means pressure on the hospitality trade is now at its peak.
This obviously causes a secondary issue for breweries, who will lose trade as beer sales reduce in the sector.
While pondering this in the early hours of Tuesday morning, I was thinking about how we could cover this hole in sales. The obvious answer? To start pushing our web sales again which in turn encourages stay at home drinking... However, this is just another kick in the teeth for those establishments that have supported local independents and ordered from us even when there are cheaper alternatives elsewhere.
So, we have come up with the following...
As long as the 10pm rule stands, when people purchase from our home delivery service, we will take the number 10, that the government have so wisely picked out of the air as a closing time, and create the following offer:
For every £10 spent with us by the public, we will take 10% as a credit toward a pub or restaurants next order. The establishment will be nominated by the person purchasing - Just put your choice in the 'Notes' at checkout (Make sure you give the name of the establishment and where they are, eg. Coach and Horses, Bethal Street Norwich, as many pubs share the same name!)
Our partners at The Norfolk Hub will give nominated establishments a call to update them on their credit on a regular basis to see if they would like to use it toward either bottle, polypin or firkin purchases.
Establishments will also receive 10 FREE 2 pint takeaway containers with each cask purchase, to offer a takeaway nightcap of Wildcraft beer for customers.
We will also extend the 10% on every £10 spent to our Pop up Pubs at the brewery which have been attracting around 200 people each event. These are people from all around Norfolk so we hope to get nominations of pubs both near and far. With The Norfolk Hub operating Norfolk wide, they will be instrumental in helping us keep you up to date but also with the deliveries of any beer ordered.
We really hope that this will help both pubs and restaraunts in what is going to be a very difficult times for them. Please remember to support them by visiting and drinking in as well as ordering your post 10pm tipples through us :-)
