Here are the headlines:
In 2023 alone, over 420 pubs were forced to close, a devastating 76% rise in insolvencies compared to the year before. Breweries are fighting just as hard, with a net loss of 38 in early 2024. Rising production costs, energy bills, and sky-high taxation are pushing small businesses to the brink, risking not just great beer but the very fabric of local communities. Personally, we have had 2 of our main wholesalers go into administration owing us well over 20k. This is money we will never see and impacts us in a major way. This is where you come in!
