Roasted exclusively for Wildcraft Brewery by the coffee roasting experts at Freshpac Coffee, Brewbacca Coffee is the same exceptional coffee served through the espresso machine in our brewery tap room and used to create our much-loved Wild Espresso beer.

This is not a generic “brewery coffee” with a funny label slapped on it. Brewbacca is a carefully selected single-origin coffee chosen for its depth, balance, and rich flavour profile, whether enjoyed as a morning espresso, a smooth cafetière, or blended into dark beer.

🌍 Cameroon Boyo Coffee Beans

Brewbacca Coffee uses Cameroon Boyo beans grown in the high-altitude Boyo Hills region of Cameroon, an area becoming increasingly recognised for producing exceptional Arabica coffee. The volcanic soils, mountain climate, and traditional smallholder farming methods create a coffee with remarkable character and complexity.

These beans are cultivated by small farming collectives working together to improve quality, sustainability, and direct trade relationships, helping support independent growers and their communities.

🍺 From Espresso Machine to Beer Tank

This is the exact coffee used in our Wild Espresso beer, a beer that perfectly captures the Wildcraft approach to brewing: taking something familiar and pushing it somewhere unexpected.

Rather than pairing this exceptional coffee with a dark stout, we combined it with a vibrant IPA base, allowing the rich espresso character to collide with bright hop aromas and tropical fruit notes in a way that is both surprisingly balanced and ridiculously drinkable.

The result is a beer that drinks like a fresh craft IPA but carries layers of roasted coffee, subtle chocolate depth, and citrus-forward complexity underneath. It’s unusual, slightly rebellious, and somehow works far better than it probably should.

It’s also the coffee we proudly serve fresh in the Wildcraft Brewery tap room, keeping brewers, staff, and visitors functioning through early starts, long brew days, and questionable life decisions.
