Ingredients:
500 g soft margarine
500 g light brown sugar
6 free range eggs
500 g self raising flour
1 Bottle of Wildcraft 'Wild Eye PA'
500 g soaked raisins
100 g dried cranberrys or other dried fruit
100 g glace cherries
2 tea spoons of mixed spice
Instructions:
Soak the soft fruit (raisins and cranberrys ) over night, covering the fruit with nearly a full bottle of Wild Eye PA. (good to have a quick taste )
Pour off the left over juice to use in something else another time: (nice to use for making a crumble, adding the apples to the left over beer !!)
Beat sugar and margarine together, add the eggs and flour, then mix in the fruit and cherries makeing sure to drain off the soft fruit as you don't want to make the mix to wet
Pour mix into 2 cake tins and cook on about 160oC until cooked in the middle
Leave to cool
Make up a butter cream for the frosting:
Double the amount of icing sugar to soft butter, whisk to make it light and then add in stem ginger to taste
Put the cakes together to make a sandwich with butter cream in the betwen and cover with the butter cream frosting. Eat with a nice bottle of Wild Eye PA....

러시아가 우크라이나와의 전쟁과 관련해 한국을 비우호 국가로 지정했다.
로이터 등 외신에 따르면 러시아 정부는 7일(현지 시간) 미국·유럽 등의 경제 제재에 맞서 러시아·러시아기업·러시아인에 비우호적인 국가 목록에 유럽연합(EU) 27개 회원국을 비롯해 노르웨이·뉴질랜드·대만·미국·싱가포르·영국·우크라이나·일본·캐나다·한국·호주 등을 포함시켰다.
러시아는 비우호국가 목록에 대해 “이 정부령은 블라디미르 푸틴 대통령이 지난 5일 지시한 ‘일부 외국 채권자에 대한 한시적 의무 이행 절차에 관한 대통령령’에 따라 마련한 것’이라고 설명했다.
이 대통령령은 러시아의 외화 채무자(정부·기업·지방정부·개인 등)은 비우호국가 채권자에게 루블(러시아 화폐)로 상환할 수 있다는 내용이다. 러시아 채무자는 러시아 은행에 채무자 명의로 만든 ‘S 계좌’(특별 루블 계좌)를 통해 외화 채무액을 루블로 환산한 금액(변제일 기준 러시아 중앙은행 환율 적용)의 송금을 요청할 수 있다는 것이다. 이 규정은 월 1000만 루블(3월 7일 환율기준 약 8850만원) 이상의 채무 상환에 적용한다는 방침이다.
즉, 러시아의 외화 채무를 폭락한 루블로 상환할 수 있도록 허용한 것이다. 이번 우크라이나 전쟁과 관련해 러시아에 경제적 제재를 선택한 국가들(비우호 국가)에 대한 러시아의 맞대응인 셈이다. 이는 또한 러시아가 앞으로 비우호 국가들에게 또 다른 경제 제재를 가하거나 수위를 높일 것으로 예상되는 대목이다.
이에 따라 러시아에 진출해 있는 한국 기업들에 대한 피해가 예상된다. 현재 러시아엔 삼성전자·LG전자·현대자동차·KT&G·팔도 등 40여개 기업이 진출해 현지에서 제품을 생산하거나 판매·유통하고 있다.
